Information on the importing of data from an external system into Machine Sentry via an API.
A new simplified API has been developed to allow measurements to be uploaded to the Machine Sentry system from other systems. Using this API it is possible to add new devices with multiple channels to the Machine Sentry system where they can be paired to relevant collection points in the Machine Sentry Database. Once paired, measurements can be uploaded via the API and automatically included in the database.
This API makes it much easier to import new devices, channels and measurements from other systems without needing a detailed understanding of the machine sentry database hierarchy.
The integration pack contains full documentation on the API and a sample C# project file to make it easier to add support for your external system to the Machine Sentry platform.
